About

The Veterans Regroup project provides a free service to Veterans, Serving Personnel, Operationally Qualified Seafarers and their immediate families in Cornwall with multi-agency hubs, money and debt advice, health and well-being services and social events.

We recognise and understand the rigours and pressures of being on deployment, the effect this can have on our families, and the impact of military service later in life as a veteran.  Our aim is to offer a holistic support service to help break vicious cycles and transform lives. Our team of military veterans, health coaches and money advisers are committed to supporting you to improve your financial situation and health.

We have supported the Armed Forces Community since 2012 and are a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, a member of ASDIC, a Veterans’ Gateway partner and hold the bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). We are dedicated to honouring the Armed Forces Covenant and supporting the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the value and contribution of Serving Personnel, Cadets, Veterans, and military families to our business and our country.

Projects Director

I founded the Veterans Regroup project in 2020, but have supported the Armed Forces Community since 2012. I am absolutely determined to provide a service that transforms lives and supports veterans, serving personnel and their immediate families to connect. I am proud to be part of this amazing team who are passionate about getting help to people as quickly as possible.

Liam

Liam

Director

I served in the Coldstream Guards for 21-years. Upon leaving the Army, I was medically discharged and faced adversity, like many other members of the Armed Forces. Thankfully, barbering gave me a platform to build my own business. I founded Armour To Barber, run an award winning Barbershop and teach all aspects of barbering across the UK. I provide the Veterans Regroup project with strategic input as a Director.

Veterans Support and Liaison

I Served 17 years in the Royal Navy, as a Seaman Radar Operator, Operating Theatre Technician and was then trained to counsel service personnel who were suffering from PTSD. In 1991, I left the Navy and became a Clinical Supervisor for the NHS. Since 2020, I have been supporting veterans with their wellbeing and personal finances. I've always been passionate about my role, after going through the process for help myself. I urge anyone who feels they are stuck in that vicious cycle to get in contact.
